Cebu City’s Beatrice Luigi Gomez captivated the judges with her beauty, intelligence, and passion winning the prestigious Ms. Universe Philippines 2021 title unanimously.
Beatrice’s powerful answer to the top 5 Q&A secured her place in the pageant as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. “I will never give up and inspire others by rising to the problems that I am encountering and by inspiring them that whatever you’re going through, you will be able to overcome it,” she said.
Beatrice, who beat out 27 other Ms. Universe Philippines candidates will win a year’s worth of round-trip tickets for two to any AirAsia destination. This December, the 25-year-old Cebuana beauty will compete in the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel, representing the Philippines.
Maureen Christa Wroblewitz of Pangasinan who received the Ms. AirAsia special award was crowned first runner-up. The 23-year-old model, who is also the first Filipina to win Asia’s Next Top Model was chosen among all contenders for her advocacy in improving the lives of others by encouraging them to “get out of their comfort zone.”
To help her promote her advocacies, she will receive a year of unlimited flights to any AirAsia destination. For a year, she will also be AirAsia’s ambassador.
Aside from giving unlimited trips, AirAsia Philippines is dedicated to partner with, support, and promote the reigning queen’s and Ms. AirAsia Philippines’ causes.
On their way back to Manila, the 2021 Ms. Universe Philippines titleholders shall conduct a courtesy call to the AirAsia Red Point headquarters.
