“Airasia Super App officially Launched in PH, set to excite and further grow e-commerce”

Manila, 6 April 2022 – The airasia Super App, Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing comprehensive digital travel and lifestyle platform, has landed in the Philippines! The Philippines’ newest Super App entrant aims to bolster the country’s burgeoning e-commerce economy.

As it is the first and only one-stop-shop travel and lifestyle app in the country, the airasia Super App, a digital venture of Capital A (previously known as AirAsia Group), is expected to disrupt the local e-commerce game.

The advent of the airasia Super App adds to AirAsia Philippines’ conclusions from a research commissioned in late 2021, in which respondents expressed a need for an integrated end-to-end travel experience. Six out of ten respondents are interested in booking packages that include flights, hotels, tours, and activities, with discounted flight + hotel bundles (61 percent) and discounted food + activities bundles (61 percent) following closely behind (59 percent ). Such packages are available on the airasia Super App, which is supported by other lines of businesses in the Philippines, such as SNAP, as well as those on the way, such as airasia ride, digital meal delivery service airasia food, and digital tax-free shopping platform TravelMall.

Capital A is sure that airasia Super App would do well in the Philippines as the country prepares for its post-pandemic recovery, following the successful introduction of its Super App in Malaysia and Thailand. The airasia Super App stands out from the competition since it allows users to compare and book flights to over 3,000 destinations with over 700 airlines to select from.

Customers may book hotels, trip packages, activities, car rides, parcel deliveries, and even shop for food, clothes, and other things at lower prices in one app, in addition to flights. Since its introduction, the airasia Super App has worked with over 200,000 hotels to provide you the best rates.

 Philippines is a significant market, according to Capital A. By the fourth quarter of 2022, it wants to double the number of people who use the airasia Super App in the Philippines.
