The new Bicol International Airport, the new gateway to the majestic Mayon Volcano in Legazpi City has finally commenced its very first commercial flight. Philippine Airlines flight PR2923 operated the very first commercial flight to and from the new airport. The very first flight landed at 9:57 and departed back for Manila at 10:55 am.
Yesterday, the Legaspi Airport took its last commercial flight after more than 70 years of operations.
