Former Cebu Pacific A330 now goes pop

An Airbus A330 of Cebu Pacific recently left the fleet, not for storage, but to a new operator. RP-C3342 was delivered to Cebu Pacific in July 2013, thus, the aircraft is now 8 years old.

Now, former RP-C3342 is flying for Flypop, a UK-based low-cost startup airline! While the aircraft is still in Guangzhou getting its new livery, a few spotters were able to get a glimpse of now GF-POP. Interestingly too, Flypop did not reconfigure the cabin. Hence, this aircraft still has the same 436 all-economy seats used by Cebu Pacific.

From yellow to polka dots

From a predominantly yellow and white aircraft, the former RP-C3342 is now white with multi-colored polka-dots on its tailfin. We are excited however to see their interior, 436 seats in Flypop colors! Polka dot headrests from green maybe?

The aircraft has logged 25,214 flight hours across 6,914 flight cycles. It served both international and domestic flights of Cebu Pacific. The aircraft is relatively young despite being having a utilization of 9 hours.

However, we are more excited to see their replacements in Cebu Pacific and these are brand-spanking-new Airbus A330-900neo jets! We hope to be able to get more pictures of those new jets soon!

As for Flypop, we hope they enjoy their very first A330 the same way Cebu Pacific did!
