Cebu Pacific welcomes their brand-new A330NEO in Manila

Earlier this morning, Cebu Pacific’s first A330-900 (registered as: RP-C3900. MSN:2001) touches down the Manila runway from Airbus Delivery Centre in Toulouse, France from its almost non-stop 13-hour flight.

Cebu Pacific will be the first Philippine airline to operate the A330Neo. The 3900 will be the first in a series of sixteen definite orders placed in 2019. It will replace the eight A330-300s delivered between 2013 and 2017, while the rest will be returned to their lessor.

The new Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines will power the new aircraft. When compared to its earlier iteration, Trent 700, which is fitted in older A330-300s, the Trent 700 is 50% quieter and uses 25% less fuel.

The A330neo has a seating capacity of 460 persons in all-economy configuration. This is a 5.5 percent increase in passenger capacity over the previous generation, the A330-300. It also has long-distance capabilities, with the A330Neo capable of flying up to 8,000 nautical miles/15,000 kilometers.

This will enable Cebu Pacific in attaining high efficiency on high density regional and long-distance routes.

Airspace by Airbus equipped in CebPac’s A330Neo also provides passengers with comfort in the cabin. These include cutting-edge in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi access.

We can’t wait to fly in the A330Neo as well.
