Gomez will represent the Philippines in this prestigious competition.

During her visit at the Air Asia PH HQ in Pasay, she said that she will do her best to bring home the PH’s 5th Crown.

She also had talks with CEO Ricky Isla and CFO Ray Berja on how AirAsia Philippines will help Bea in her advocacies thru their initiative umbrella program alwaysREDy: anytime, anywhere.

Bea is an outspoken supporter of children’s rights and welfare. Tourism and environmental preservation initiatives are also among the causes she is passionate about.

Ms. Universe Charity Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Bea’s co-titler, also committed to assist charities that would improve the lives of children while encouraging heritage protection. She also showed eagerness for going above and above for a smile with AirAsia and its partner Operation Smile Philippines.

“Bea, the AirAsia family is with you in praying that you arrive safely in Israel, and that you make good memories there with the other empowered women of your league. The Allstars will be cheering you on as you proudly wear the Philippine sash in every stage of the competition. Have fun and enjoy the moment.” Steve Dailisan, AirAsia PH’s Spokesperson said in a press statement.

Dailisan added.  “We also look forward to working with Bea and Victoria in the months to come.  We know that more than beauty and brains, our Miss Universe title holders also have a big heart to help other people, especially the underprivileged,”

Bea, a model and Philippine Navy Reserve Sergeant, made history by becoming the country’s first openly bisexual Miss Universe.

AirAsia recently granted the Cebuana beauty queen unlimited roundtrip tickets for two to all AirAsia destinations in order to promote her causes throughout her reign as Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
