Cebu Pacific has expanded its international flight network

MANILA, April 21 — Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) will restart flights to Bali, Hanoi, and Sydney by the end of June, bringing the number of international destinations to 16 as the Philippines’ major airline ramps up frequency on overseas routes in response to the relaxation of travel restrictions.

CEB plans to start flying twice weekly on the Manila-Hanoi-Manila and Manila-Bali-Manila routes in May. In June, three times weekly flights to and from Sydney, Australia will resume.

From January to April, CEB will resume service on six overseas routes: Bangkok, Fukuoka, Jakarta, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Ho Chi Minh.

Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul (Incheon), Nagoya, Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, and Guangzhou are also served by CEB.

“We fully support the Department of Tourism’s initiatives to restore tourism. We would also like to congratulate the Department of Tourism (DOT) on hosting this year’s World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit, our first major face-to-face event that signals international travel’s confident recovery. We invite Filipinos and foreign visitors to plan their travels to the Philippines and explore its beauty, or simply visit family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone onboard,” said Xander Lao, CEB chief commercial officer, in a press conference at the WTTC Global Summit.

“We are happy to keep enabling everyJuan to safely fly across our largest Philippine network. We are hopeful we can continue contributing to the economic and tourism agenda in and out of the Philippines,” Lao said.

Travelers who have been vaccinated and have a negative PCR swab or laboratory-based antigen test result can fly to the Philippines without difficulty. Passengers can get the most up-to-date information and detailed travel guidelines for their destination on the CEB Travel reminders page.

CEB continues to offer guaranteed low rates across the Philippines’ largest domestic network to encourage travel. It continues to take a multi-layered approach to safety, and it employs a fully vaccinated crew, with 90% of them having been boosted, all to ensure that every Juan flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
