Baggage Policy Reminders
Cebu Pacific reminds passengers of the airline’s per piece baggage policy, which allows travelers to pre-purchase up to two (2) pieces of check-in luggage. Each piece of checked baggage must weigh within 20kg or 32kg, to ensure a smooth and convenient experience.
A passenger may choose either a 20kg or a 32kg check-in baggage, or a maximum of the (2) two options.
Passengers are reminded to properly pack their bags. Bags and other items that are taped or bundled together will be unbundled and will be tagged separately. CEB will not accept items that are tied or taped together to prevent those from getting detached, damaged, or lost.
Passengers are encouraged to purchase their checked baggage allowance online during initial booking, or during Manage Booking, up to 2 hours before scheduled time of departure, to avoid additional fees at the airport.
Checked baggage should not exceed 39 inches on all sides. Any excess in pieces, weight, and size are subject to Extra Bag Fee, Excess Baggage Fee, and/or Oversized Baggage Fee, respectively. Visit https://bit.ly/CEBPrepaidBag for more information.
The policy is in line with the airline’s goal to improve processes for a more efficient and seamless customer experience. Checking in fewer bags will allow for a faster check-in process, resulting in better management of flight timings.
Meanwhile, passengers must bring only one carry-on bag for a more convenient flight experience. The carry-on bag must not exceed 7kg in weight and can fit in the overhead bins or under the seat.
Here below are the exempted items that may be carried on top of their single hand carry bag:
Gadgets or food items that cannot be checked in;
Items purchased inside the airport (requires proof of receipt);
Assistive or medical items such as walking canes, foldable walkers;
Baby food and necessities for adult passengers traveling with infants;
Or a small bag that can fit under the seat.
