Cathay Pacific has resumed service to Hong Kong and other destinations

Cathay Pacific is welcome passengers on board following the formal resumption of flights between the United Kingdom and Hong Kong on April 1st. The first flight (CX252) will take out from London Heathrow (LHR) on March 31st, landing in Hong Kong on April 1st, followed by a trip (CX216) from Manchester Airport (MAN) on April 3rd.

Fully vaccinated Hong Kong citizens will be allowed access to the HKG with a shorter seven-night stay in a specialized quarantine hotel due to loosened restrictions; further criteria such as pre-departure PCR testing and travel declaration forms will remain in place. Cathay Pacific has compiled all of the necessary information in a step-by-step Hong Kong travel checklist for your convenience.

The transit ban at Hong Kong Airport will be abolished on April 1st, allowing travellers from the UK to enjoy Cathay Pacific’s award-winning onboard service. Travelers will now be able to connect through Hong Kong to places such as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, and others.

All First and Business Class passengers, as well as members of the Marco Polo Club and the oneworld partner program, will be able to use the famed Cathay Pacific airport lounge in Terminal 3 when flying from London Heathrow.

Cathay Pacific is the more environmentally friendly option, with flights to Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, and Taiwan. Cathay Pacific’s Fly Greener initiative allows travellers to offset their travel costs, and the airline has offset nearly 300,000 tonnes of carbon emissions since 2007.
